Aluminum chloride (AlCl₃) is an inorganic chemical raw material. It appears as a white or light yellow crystalline powder and is highly soluble in water, ethanol, ether and other solvents. It is prone to deliquescence in the air and produces hydrogen chloride fumes. It has strong corrosiveness and hygroscopicity.
Product features
When aluminium chloride dissolves in water, it undergoes a hydrolysis reaction to form aluminium hydroxide colloid. This colloid has an extremely strong adsorption capacity and can effectively coagulate suspended impurities and colloidal particles in water, achieving the effect of water purification and clarification.
